OceanSF Spring 2017-7

Here we go.  I’ve been holding Ocean SF back for a long time.  As a seasoned Product Manager and Marketing Director, I’ve been part of many launches and trust me when I say, it’s better to wait and be ready then to launch before you can fulfill your customer promise.

After many, many months of hard work we are finally ready.  Our wool, and I mean the wool thread, has been ordered and is being milled now, we have dye samples for our gorgeous red.  What you see in the photo above is vintage one of a kind fabric purchased in LA at Mood in the garmet district.  It is 17 years old and the factory that made it has been closed for a decade.  Jeff, spent the day (and it took all day) driving me around LA, and helped me find it.  We have reproduced the color for our technologically advanced fabric (our wool fabric has a lofted texture inside for warmth) and will finally have the fabric in November and be able to make more than one.

I am wearing the jacket sample in orange in the photo above, this fabric that has been developed by a company called Global Merino in the Bay Area, and it’s a gorgeous fabric, tightly woven for warmth, the wool fibers are long to keep it from being itchy, inside the fabric is softer to trap air to keep you warm.

Please go to oceansf.co and pre-order your Men’s and Women’s jackets!  They are made of 100% New Zealand Merino wool, warm, soft, sustainable, beautifully made in LA and machine washable.

This is what I wear sailing, skiing, hiking or walking.  You will love it.  It’s so warm and made of natural fibers.  Why would you wear polyester in the natural world?

Please wear only natural fibers while hiking, biking, sailing skiing and so on.  Polyester fleece leaches into our drinking water polluting it with tiny particals that cannot be filtered.

Spread the word! American made and tested for durability, comfort and warmth. Go to Oceansf.co.

Love and blessings to all.
