I’ve been working on my company Ocean SF for six years. It’s been a journey and I’ve met so many wonderful people and have learned so much. Having your own company is a challenge, but as another entrepreneur I know put it,
The reward is not monetary it’s the person you become while building your company that is the reward.
I hate to say it, but honestly you become what the role requires; tough, resilient and relentless. I wrote a while ago that starting and building a successful company would take all you’ve got and then some. That has proven true time and time again.
Do I get discouraged and want to quit? A thousand times yes, but that feels unnatural. It would be like quitting on your kids when they go through difficult stages. Or, quitting on the last mile of a marathon. So, I’m staying the course.
